Aaoodhu billahi minashshaitaan-ir-rajeem

Bismillahi-r-rahman-nir-raheem.

ALLAH- a name that carries so much weight & importance that we as humans cannot even comprehend let alone imagine.

A name that removes afflictions and troubles like water washing away dirt!

ALLAH-The Almighty has many names & muffakireen & scholars have said that certain names if recited under the supervision of a Kaamil Sheikh can not only remove problems but give a person spiritual strength.

Recently, I have had many emails where my muslim brothers & sisters have shared their problems with me & I am going to assist them to the best of my abilities- inshaALLAH- but alongwith that I wanted to share these names of ALLAH & under what circumstances to recite them so that they benefit you- inshaALLAH.

Please remember these points before reciting these names:

• Be in wudhu
• Try sitting on a prayer mat (if possible)
• Remove all possible distractions
• Reduce the lighting in the room
• Picture in your head the name: الله
• Close your eyes & picture with all humility that you are seated in the presence of your Lord & then say the names- as per your situation:

1. Increase barakah in your Rizq-Ya Baasitu Ya muni'mu-يا باسط يا منعم
2. For good & betterment in life-Ya Mu'ti Ya Shakuru-يا معطي يا شكور
3. Protect oneself from dependence-Ya Azeezu Ya Mugni-يا عزيز يا مغني
4. Receive respect-Ya Jaleelu Ya Kareemu-يا جليل يا كريم
5. Soften everyone's hearts towards you-Ya Mu'izzu Ya Rafi'u-يا معز يا رافع
6. For good health-Ya Azeemu Ya Hayyu-يا عظيم يا حي
7. To be independent of others-Ya Wahhabu Ya wasee'u-يا وهاب يا واسع
8. To gain interest in worship of ALLAH-Ya Muhsiu Ya Quddusu-يا محصي يا قدوس
9. Freedom from sins-Ya aakhiru Ya haadiu-يا اخر يا ها دي
10. Soften of one's heart-Ya Baa'isu Ya Nooru-يا باعث يا نور
11. Betterment of inside & outside of a person-Ya Muhaiminu Ya Haseebu-يا مهيمن يا حسيب
12. Protection of life & wealth-Ya Mu'minu Ya Na'fiu-يا مومن يا نافع
13. Overpowering your enemy-Ya Khafidhu Ya Qadiru-يا خافض يا قادر
14. Marriage of girls-Ya Lateefu Ya Haleemu-يا لطيف يا حليم
15. Getting children-Ya Mutakabbiru Ya Waahidu-يا متكبر يا واحد
16. For Children to become 'noorani'-Ya Barru Ya Badee'u-يا بر يا بديع
17. For a infertile woman-Ya Musawwiru Ya Khaaliqu-يا مصور يا خالق
18. Protection of Pregnancy-Ya Mubdi'u Ya Salaamu-يا مبدي يا سلام
19. For Love & affection between husband & wife-Ya Wadudu Ya Kabeeru-يا ودود يا كبير
20. For depression-Ya Jamiu Ya Mu'eedu-يا جامع يا معيد
21. Removal of afflictions-Ya Rahmaanu Ya Salaamu-يا رحمن يا سلام
22. Protection from Magic,evil eye & jinns-Ya Hafeezu Ya Raqeebu-يا حفيظ يا رقيب
23. Protection of shop,office & home-Ya Razzaqu Ya Habeebu-يا رزاق يا حبيب
24. Increase in knowledge-Ya Hakeemu Ya Baa'isu-يا حكيم يا باعث
25. For Acceptance of Dua-Ya Samee'u Ya Mujeebu-يا سيع يا مجيب
26. For death with Imaan & in goodness-Ya Mua'kkhiru Yaa Akhiru-يا موخر يا اخر
27. Protection from punishment of grave-Ya Baari'u Ya Wakeelu-يا باري يا وكيل
28. Protection from heat of day of Mahshar-Ya Raheemu Ya Kareemu-يا رحيم يا كريم
29. For getting Shifa'at -Ya Haseebu Ya Tawwabu-يا حسيب يا تواب
30. For admission into Jannah-Ya Afuu'wu Ya Raafiu-يا عفو يا رافع
31. For getting wealth-Ya Ghaniyyu Ya Mughni-يا غني يا مغني
32. For every work to get done-Ya Hayyuu Ya Qayyum-يا حي يا قيوم
33. For overpowering-Ya Qawiuu Ya Azeezu-يا قوي يا عزيز
34. For working of a shop/office-Ya Fattaahu ya Razzaqu-يا فتاح يا رزاق

Please read the names with reference to the situation that you or your family members are in - minimum of 111 times daily ONCE. Also read before & after Durood Shareef.

Once again- this is just a basic guideline but a kaamil sheikh is always needed for better & proper guidance through the myriad of problems in one's life!

Please do remember me in your duas & I pray that ALLAH removes all afflictions & troubles & problems from who ever reads any of these names & may their work get done & they get what they want from ALLAH through the blessed waseelah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) & of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (Quddisa sirruhul azeez). ameen.Sumameen.
